Castle Building Shape Cards Tool

This tool combines  creativity and problem-solving by allowing  children to build  castles using different geometric shapes.

What’s inside:

• A set of cards showing various castle designs made from shapes.
• A collection of loose geometric shapes (squares, rectangles, triangles, circles, etc.) that the child uses to recreate the castles shown on the cards.

Use of this tool:

 Develops spatial awareness and the ability to  recognize how shapes fit together.

Ideas for playing this activity:

1. 1. Castle Challenge – Choose a card and ask the child to build the exact castle using the shapes provided.
2. 2. Memory Castle – Show a card for 15 seconds, hide it, and have the child  recreate the castle from memory.
3. 3. Speed Build – Set a timer and see how quickly the child can complete each castle.
4. 4. Creative Mode – Let the child  design their own castles without the cards, then draw their creation on paper.
5. 5. Shape Sorting Game – Before building, ask the child to sort all the loose shapes by type or color.
